✂️ MATERIALS

Lightweight recycled cardboard
Colored cardstock or construction paper
Templates (optional, but they can save you some time ⏱️)
- Glue and scissors
- Stickers and decorative elements for personalization

💡PARTY TIPS

I recommend using cardboard that is not too thick or too thin. This will make it easier to work with while still providing enough support to keep your organizer sturdy.

- Cover each piece before assembling the organizer. This will give you a much cleaner and neater finish.

- Reinforce the edges of each piece with a little glue to make sure the paper or lightweight cardstock stays securely attached.

- Assemble the organizer one section at a time, and let each part dry completely before moving on to the next step.

- You can use the animal templates to create a cute desk organizer, or decorate and personalize it with stickers, drawings, names, and other fun details.

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS

1️⃣ Cut the cardboard pieces

Draw all the pieces using the measurements shown in the video. You can also use the templates provided below. Simply trace them onto the cardboard and cut out each piece. This will save you some time and make the process much easier.

2️⃣ Cover the pieces

Before assembling the organizer, I recommend decorating each piece separately. You can use cardstock or colored paper, adhesive paper, contact paper, decorative paper, or even acrylic paint to cover and decorate the cardboard.
For this project, I went with a super cute kawaii-inspired look, adding a little cat face with rosy cheeks and small details that make the organizer even more adorable.

3️⃣ Assemble the organizer

Start by attaching the base using hot glue, craft glue, or another strong adhesive. Then, attach one of the side panels to the base.
Next, add each of the interior dividers, making sure they are properly aligned and securely attached. Finally, close the organizer by attaching the remaining side panel. Let the glue dry completely before moving on to the decorating stage.

4️⃣ Decorate, personalize, and organize your desk

Once the glue has completely dried, it's time for the most fun part: personalizing your organizer! You can add stickers, labels, names, foam shapes, your favorite characters, or any other decorative elements that match your style.
Then, start organizing your supplies. Place scissors in the taller compartments, pencils and markers in the medium-sized sections, and small accessories in the front compartments so they're always easy to reach.
